A huge anti-privatization rally was organized by All Pakistan WAPDA Hydro Electric Union of Water and Power Development Authority in Islamabad on 18th February, 2015. Workers from all over Pakistan reached in front of Islamabad Press Club with red flags and banners of against privatization. This was the largest protest of WAPDA organized in recent times and the workers were determined to fight against this latest attack of state against workers.

Cambridge and District Trades Council (Cambridge-TUC) held its Annual General Meeting on 18th February 2015 and decided to affiliate to Pakistan Trade Union Defense Campaign (PTUDC). The successful motion for affiliation was put forward by Andrew Osborne from Unite South Cambridgeshire General Engineering Manufacturing and Servicing branch and seconded by Pete Monahagn from UCU Cambridge Regional College branch. This is indeed a great achievement for the workers of Pakistan and Britain in establishing international trade union solidarity link

NADRA Employees Union held hunger strike camps for their demands outside press clubs in different cities in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sakkar, Lahore, Quetta and Peshawar. These camps will continue from 2nd February to 7th February. Central president of NADRA Union Saleem Sherpao, Gohar Ayub, Abbas Chamkani, Provincial president Azmat Qazafi, Arshad Hussain, Sultan Yousaf and dozens of workers participated in the protest camp in Peshawar.
